Lewis
Operations Manager
Meredith was born in Spartanburg, SC; however she grew up in Gastonia,
NC. Meredith returned to the Upstate her senior year in high school and
graduated from Chapman High School. Meredith earned two degrees: one in
arts and the other in business administration. Growing up with a family
in the waste industry, she naturally understood how the business runs
from day one. Before joining UWM, Meredith spent 10 years between Mary
Black Hospital and Spartanburg Regional Hospital in positions ranging
from project manager to corporate trainer. Her extensive knowledge in
technology and project management allows us to transition with the every
day changes and manage operations in an efficient and effective manner.

Steven Savage
General Manager/Operating Partner
Steven was born in Spartanburg, SC and grew up in Inman, SC. After graduating Chapman High School, he attended USC-Upstate and also enlisted in the South Carolina Army National Guard. While earning a degree in
Interdisciplinary studies, Steven also completed a year tour in Iraq with his Military
Police unit. While in Iraq he was awarded four US Army accommodation medals for distinctive leadership. Before joining UWM, Steven spent ten years in various upper management positions for a national retail company. While in management positions, his stores were top three in the nation for customer service satisfaction for four years in a row. Steven brings those levels of service to
UWM and his ability to "think outside of the box" ensures UWM stands out from other competitors.
